Poles Apart are one of Ireland's Top Wedding and Function Bands. Based in Galway, we will travel to venues nationwide,including Sligo, Leitrim, Mayo, Roscommon, Limerick and Clare.
Poles Apart consists of five full-time professional musicians with many years experience with other outfits.
We know how to read the crowd and we ensure that we keep the dance floor full all night long.
We offer a wide range of music to suit all tastes and age groups and pride ourselves on our ability to adapt to any particular audience or venue.
We play a mixture of music from Jazz, Funk, Covers, Charts and Rock Classics. You can listen to some of our Music Clips to give you an idea of our style of music.
The band's lead singer, Sinead Nic Gabhann, is a very accomplished classically-trained singer, with many years on-stage experience touring the country.
Marcin Plaza, the keyboard player and musical director of the band, also clasically trained, has many years recording studio and stage experience with various well known showbands, touring nationally and internationally.
